Grandma,

I never really got to tell you just how much you mean to me, and my family! You are amazing, you have seen so much, you have taught me so much... You are always and forever with us! I love you, I love you I love you! Whispering this into your ear was always so easy until last night! I know you heard me as you squeezed my hand, which I will never let go! I thought I was ready for this day, but seeing as I am weeping... I am not ready to let you go! I learned so much about you while you stayed with us... stories about Grandpa that I never knew, about your family... about you! I laughed with you, I cried with you! As I held you in my arms, I remember always telling you, "Grandma you did it for me and cared for me, let me do this for you..." this is still true! You held me in your arms when I was hurt, you comforted the pain... now I do this for you!

I remember one night you couldn't sleep, neither could I... we sat on the couch and talked until one in the morning... we both laughed and said it was so much fun and we needed to do it more often, and this we did! Grandma I will never forget the treasured moments we have been able to create over the past year! We grew very very close and I love the time we were able to have together and the time you had with Brayden, Carsen Elise, and Walker James! What amazing memories you have given us! I know you are with Grandpa and all of your family and I cannot wait to join the family reunion with you!!

I have to say that the staff at Grace and Good Shepard are so amazing! Never left our sides, prayed with us, cried with us... Thank you Alice for being the sweet sweet tender soul that we needed during this time! You are one amazing woman and I only hope to have half the strength as you! Precious Angel sent to us at the most perfect time... this is what you mean to me!

She turns four this weekend and I cannot believe it! It seems like yesterday I found out that we were having our sweet baby girl! Carsen Elise, you have changed my heart forever! I love you more than you will ever know! You make my days fun and whimsical and carefree!

I wish we had had a "fairy god-mother" like Cinderella three weeks ago!!

Here is a snap shot of Walker James after falling off of our retaining wall. He hit his head, his nose, and his lip!! It was the hardest fall I have ever heard!! I was helping Brayden put on his roller blades and before I could tell Michael to check on Walker James... bamm!! He hit the driveway!! He cried for a little bit but bounced right back! I didn't take a picture of what it really looked like, it hurt me too much... so this is the healing picture!

He is in the sixth grade and man ohh man!! I had to share him with everyone! I love to watch the girls in the background... its like a light just clicked with them!!
